Miami Beach Office Building - Renovation

DESCRIPTION

This renovation project was done in stages per the client's acceptance of the common areas and floors. First the common areas were renovated and then a typical scheme was done to third floor as 'prototype' for the entire building. All areas were designed by the architect William Lane.

The renovation of the entire third floor consisted of making a 'sheik' design scheme. The floor was completely 'guted' to allow for the new construction as shown in the photos. Structurally, the existing metal joists remain undisturbed being painted white along with the rest of the ceiling. The center desk is finished in Teak with white Corian.

The lobby renovation improves the street and parking entry areas to the building. All new finishes, artwork, seating, lighting, soffit design and elevator finishes were done.

I drafted all the architectural construction documents, coordinated with the engineers for a complete set of plans for permit and expedited the plans through the Miami Beach Building Department.
